ALX-Information system is a complete standalone system including hardware and software for digital signage. This display controller, DISCON-7, has been developed specially for continuous use with embedded PC, passive cooling and Windows 7 embedded running from the flash drive.

The ALX-software is intuitive and enables following tasks:

• creating presentations and their administration
• contents and data storing and distribution
• running presentations
• system administration (network, operating system settings and ALX)

DISCON-7E allows variable user definitions for displaying data (any size and position). The ALX supports following formats:

• Picture
• Text (also automatic import of text, XML, RSS)
• Figures and text (running text possible)
• Audio, video (incl. MPG2, WMV, MP3, AVI)
• Audio, video streaming
• PowerPoint
• Date and time
• TV

The ALX system can be set manually or automatically. It provides a timetable tool and numerous interfaces.
